Cowfish - Description

The Cowfish also known as the Long-horned Cowfish or Longhorn Cowfish is a type of boxfish that is thought to resemble a cow due to the horns that protrude from the front of its head.

It makes a very unique addition to any marine aquarium however if it becomes stressed the Cowfish will release a poisonous toxin from their skin called Ostracitoxin which is toxic to other Cowfish. It is advisable to keep this fish singly.
