The Lionhead Goldfish is also commonly known as the Ranchu in Japan. It can be recognised by its lack of dorsal fin and also has a  large growth on its head which is thought to resemble a bunch of grapes!

It is not recommended for beginners, it is not as hardy as fancy goldfish varieties.
