The Blind Cave Tetra is also known as the Mexican Tetra. They are a very unusual looking fish as they don't have any eyes or pigmentation! They are however a very popular choice for the freshwater aquarium as they are hardy and relatively easy to keep.

The Blind Cave Tetra's use their lateral line sensory organs to find their way around, this sense organ is very sensitive to water pressure.
