Splash Tetra - Description

The Splash Tetra is also commonly known as the Splashing Tetra. It is a schooling fish that does best when placed in groups of at least six. The Splash tetra gets its name from the unusual way it breeds!

The fish leave the water and lay their eggs onto an ovrhanging plant. The male then splashes water onto the eggs to prevent them drying out.
