The Rosy Bitterling is also known as the Rose Bitterling or Rose Fish. It gets the name 'Rosy' from the color that the males change to during the spawning season.
The Bitterling is a very shy shoaling fish that should ideally be placed in groups of at least six, the tank should also have lots of hiding places.
