- Description
The Yellowface Angelfish is also known as the Yellowmask
Angelfish and Blueface Angelfish. Like other species of
Angelfish the coloring of the Juvenile varies greatly from the
mature adult.
The juvenile can be recognised by its bright
yellow, black and blue stripes while the adult as the picture
above shows has a yellow mask around its eyes and a yellow tail
with a false eyespot on the dorsal fin to fool its predators!
