Crustaceans include Crabs, Lobsters, Barnacles, Krill, Crayfish and Shrimp. Most crustaceans (Crustacea) live in the ocean but some such as Woodlice live on land (Terrestrial), others live on their hosts (Parasitic). Examples include Fish Lice and Tongue Worms. Barnacles are also a form of Crustaceans but are sessile which means that they do not move about.

Crustacean Information and Facts

There are 44,000 different species of Crustaceans, most of them live in the sea (marine) but some are freshwater and others live on land. All Crustaceans have an exoskeleton which doesn’t grow so must be moulted for them to grow.

Crustaceans include Crabs, Lobsters, Barnacles, Krill, Crayfish and Shrimp.
